Ukrainian anti-corruption agencies name five suspects in alleged criminal organization
Ukraine’s National Anti-Corruption Bureau and Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office named five suspects in a criminal organization uncovered in the “Carthage” operation. The group allegedly included current officials from the security service, national police and prosecutor’s office, who provided cover or illicit benefits for call centers and other illegal businesses. Serhiy Duka and Volodymyr Tsenov were reportedly detained, while searches continued at the residences of senior police and security officials. On November 5, the High Anti-Corruption Court began considering a preventive measure for Tsenov.
