Ukrainian anti-korruption agency: Five suspects in operation Carthago
Ukrainian anti-corruption authorities said on November 5 that five people had been notified of suspicion in the Carthage operation, which uncovered alleged links between organized crime and senior officials in Ukraine’s security, police and prosecution bodies. The investigation covers alleged corruption schemes involving drug trafficking, fraudulent call centers, counterfeit cigarettes and currency.
